Stage clothes used to be an afterthought. On this tour they are half the show, with four costume changes and a closing look that took two months to make.
The designer, a longtime collaborator, describes the brief in three words: loud, comfortable, washable.

On the red carpet the mood was softer. Tailoring in muted colours, oversized coats and very little jewellery.
We wanted it to sound like the room we made it in, not like a studio pretending to be a room.
